Time for Some Summer Sun!  Actually I was making this as a favor for a Island themed Bridal Shower and it came out so cute that I decided to take for a 3D swap at Stampin' Up! Convention.  It is cut Crumb Cake sponged paper using the Dress Up Framelit, then the skirt bottom is cut off and a v cut for the legs. Using Creped Filter Paper and markers for the grass skirt, coconuts are Early Espresso punched 1/2" circles with Dimensionals behind them.  The bikini bottom is leftover from die cut flowers. Make a little box to put candy nugget in.

Strawberry Slush, the new Stampin' Up! In-Color is simply yummy.  I just had to make a scrapbook page using this new color.  The technique used is the Crystal Effects marble look using re-inkers of Strawberry Slush, Crumb Cake and Whisper White Craft ink onto a Staz On stamped window sheet  backside and then while still wet placed on Silver Glimmer paper.  What a beautiful look! hope you will try it.

Happy Mother's Day!  This is for the love that mothers give everyday.  I created this scrapbook page as a Stampin' Up MDS Hybrid.  It was created in My Digital Studio and printed it out, then layered onto 12 x 12 cardstock, printed the embellishments from MDS and cut them out and layered them with Stampin' Up! ribbons.

Year (2013) in Review -May

This is my favorite card ever, not only do I love this pop up die "Dress Form Pop'n Cuts, but the Artisan Laces, doilies and flowers are just steal my feminine heart.  I had so much creative fun making this card, I am only listing products that are really highlighted.  The mirror is Stampin' Up!  Silver Glimmer paper sponged with Soft Suede Ink then layered with Chrystal Effects, frame of Brushed Gold cardstock layered and embossed.  Bloomers are Creped Filter Paper, Dresser is Early Espresso cardstock sponged with Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler ink for the mahogany look and painted with Chrystal Effects,  Flooring is made with the Natural Composition Specialty Paper sponged with Whisper White Craft Ink, cut into strips and sponged with Early Espresso ink and applied to Early Espresso cardstock.  All stamps, accessories and paper are Stampin' Up!

Wild Stampin' Up! My digital Studio scrapbook page of a daring young lady in her wild red hair!  What is great about MDS is that you can match the colors, which I did with Leah's hair, so fun!

Year (2013) in Review - March

Is it Spring Yet!  Well! just maybe this Scrap Book Page will give spring a boost.  The Tea Shoppe page is a S.U. MDS hybrid page.  I am showing the hybrid page with added dimensional flowers and tea cup that is water colored then placed on 12 x 12 card stock. .

I have also included the MDS only version

Nothing says spring like a vase of  flowers.  These vases are painted inside using white acrylic paint and several drops of S.U. ink refill.  It took two days for mine to dry sitting up side down.  The flowers are made using the creped filter paper, wire, ink, punches and card stock plus ribbon.  Be careful that the wire does not scratch the sides of the interior of the vase as it will scratch the paint off.

Year (2013) in Review- February

Brrrrrr - it is cold outside, so I have a Winter Wreath created using a multitude of S.U. dies & punches glitter paper, Designers Series Paper, & card stock including glitter and glue. I used dimensionals to give it layers and depth.

What could February be without a SAB Scrapbook page!
Can you Believe it no Valentine's card? I made a friend card instead using the Stampin' Up My Digital Studio program ( if you haven't tried it, you are missing out on a lot of fun and easy creating) I made the card by printing a MDS stamp image onto watercolor paper. I used cloth for the dresses and water colored parts (I used the blender pen be careful that the printer ink doesn't smear) Then layered fabric and paper to complete the card with ribbon and button, with matching envelope.

Year (2013) in Review - January

Stamping friends have been asking for me to post my creations for some time. Here I go with a Year in Review for 2013 the first post will be for January. What did I do in January 2013? wah hoo! I was able to go to Stampin' Up's Leadership in Orlando, Fla. What a fabulous place to go in Jan! I only participated in a scrapbook page swap. My pages were geared towards an outdoors theme, but simply made. My favorite was the little tree punches that I embedded into the card stock with DSP.
